MLA Sunil Kamble welcomed the state government’s decision about Police Earned Leave

MLA Sunil Kamble | 20 days of casual leave and 15 days of additional earned leave were granted to the posts of police officers to police inspectors with encashment concessions, considering the scope of work, responsibility etc. under the police force of the state.  However, now the state government has decided to cancel the concession of encashment of extra earned leave of the police.  This decision of the state government has been welcomed by Pune Cantonment BJP MLA Sunil Kamble.

d.  On February 21, the government decided to cancel the relaxation of encashment of 15 days of extra earned leave for the posts of police constables to police inspectors in the state of Maharashtra.  But, it is not convenient for our policemen, because policemen don’t get a weekly allowance every week, our policemen are bound for duty 24 hours a day.  Therefore, MLA Sunil Kamble gave a letter to Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday asking that this government decision should be cancelled.

Taking cognizance of MLA Sunil Kamble’s letter, Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered to cancel this government decision immediately.  The State Home Department has issued a new government decision on Friday (23rd) and canceled the February 21 government decision.  MLA Sunil Kamble welcomed the new government decision taken by the Home Department and thanked Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
