So the departments had to wait for the necessary papers. But now the Pune Municipal Corporation has completed the tender process. Miscellaneous 53 Kind of stationery is going to be purchased. It will cost 1 Crore 94 Lakhs. The proposal in this regard has been placed before the PMC Standing Committee (PMC Central Store Department) by the administration.
Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) is the second largest municipal corporation in the state and its budget is approximately 9 thousand crores. There are various accounts, regional offices in the Municipal Corporation, and they require a large amount of materials, goods and supplies for their daily operations. A central warehouse department has been created for its collective procurement. According to the demand and requirement of the department, goods, materials and goods are procured and supplied from this department. Other Departments do not have separate rights for such purchases. Meanwhile, materials like paper, toner, which are essential for daily use, have not been purchased from the warehouse department for the past few months. After much criticism in this regard, now the department has started procurement of materials.
Regarding procurement of stationery, the administration had conducted tender process as per GeM portal procedure. In this Hemdeep Enterprises had the lowest rate of 1 Crore 94 Lakh 6268. Accordingly, it has been decided to give this work to this company. Various 53 types of stationery will be taken. This includes A4 paper 25000 rem, Legal paper 3000 rem, Ledger paper 1000 rem, Short hand book 500 nos., Pen, pencil, stapler pin, etc.
