  A total of 18 vehicles, one for each regional office and three for the main department, will be purchased for taking action and it will be possible to effectively carry out various activities related to solid waste management at different levels in Pune city.  In the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan implemented by the central government, help will also be provided under this initiative to increase the rating of Pune city.  Also, if the vehicles are provided to the servants for action, their morale will increase and it will help the action to be carried out effectively and it will have positive results.  So the cars have been purchased.
 In order to carry out the penal action more effectively, a total of 18 special scod vehicles are being purchased through the solid waste management department of the Pune Municipal Corporation, 4 in the first phase and 14 in the second phase.  4 cars of the first phase were distributed today.  After that, the remaining 14 trains in the second phase will be distributed to the regional offices.  This time Dr.  Kunal Khemnar Additional Municipal Commissioner, Sandeep Kadam, Deputy Commissioner Solid Waste Management, Jayant Bhosekar, Deputy Commissioner Motor Vehicle Department, Prasad Katkar, Deputy Commissioner Circle No. 4, all municipal assistant commissioners, all senior health inspectors and all health inspectors were present.  Public awareness about solid waste management will also be created through these trains.  It will be possible to create awareness about the public cleanliness of the city, educate the citizens who violate the above rules and levy administrative charges in case of violation despite repeated notices.
