 Pune moves from 20th to 10th position in Swachh Survekshan’s All India Ranking

 Pune 10th Ranking |  Pune 5 Star City |  Due to the efforts made by the Pune Municipal Corporation regarding cleanliness, the city of Pune has now become 5 star.  Also, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune) has got the 10th rank (Pune 10th Rank) in the Swachh Survey 2023 (Swachh Survey 2023) among cities with a population of more than 1 lakh.  Last year, Pune was ranked 20th.  Pune is at the 9th position among cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs.  So here in Maharashtra, Pune has come to the 2nd place (Pune 2nd Rank in Maharashtra).  Recently this award has been accepted by the Central Government on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.  This is considered a big achievement for Pune Municipality and Pune City.  (PMC Pune News)
 Pune city has earned the reputation as the best livable city in the country.  Also Pune city has got many titles like capital of education, cultural capital of the state.  Another reputation has been added to it.  Pune city has now become 5 star.  The Solid Waste Management Department of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Solid Waste Management Department) was constantly striving for this.  Pune city was so far in 3 stars.  But now it has increased to 5 stars.  In this regard, a survey was conducted by the Center in the last week of September.  It included 20 different components such as door-to-door waste collection, waste sorting, etc.  The Municipal Corporation has made good progress in all these matters.  Therefore, the municipality has been able to get this book.  Pune Municipal Corporation will try to get 7 star and water plus rating in the coming time.  Municipal Corporation can be eligible for this after completion of water treatment plant works under JICA project.  (Pune PMC News)
The Karbhari -  Pune 5 Star city
 Meanwhile, the central government has recently given this certificate to Pune city.  Also, today i.e. 11th January, National Award was given to Pune Municipal Corporation.  In this, the ranking of the city in Swachh Survekshan is understood.  Accordingly, Pune has moved from 20th ranking to 10th position among cities with a population of more than 1 lakh.  Pune is at the 9th position among cities with a population of more than 10 lakhs.  So here in Maharashtra, Pune has come to the 2nd position.  Recently this award has been accepted by the Central Government on behalf of the Municipal Corporation.  The central government has invited only 3 cities from the state.  This includes the cities of Navi Mumbai, Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.  Pune Municipal Corporation is appreciating this.

 Pune city has already got 5 star certificate.  Now the ranking has also increased.  This is a big thing for Pune Municipal Corporation.  The central government has put a stamp on the good performance of the municipal corporation.  We have made a lot of improvements compared to last year.  The municipality is going to improve its performance even better.  Now we will try for 7 star and water plus.  Also, efforts will continue regarding how the city will remain in the top 3 in India.

 Swachh Survekshan 2023, (SS23), our Pune Municipal Corporation has received 5 Star City Certificate.  Also now the ranking is also known.  Coming from 20 to 10th position and second position in Maharashtra is a big achievement for us, everyone has contributed a lot.  But now our responsibility has increased.  We will now try to bring the city to the top 5.
