Pune Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase reviews EVM security at Koregaon Park
Pune | Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase today visited the Food Corporation of India warehouse at Koregaon Park and reviewed EVM security.
On this occasion, Joint Commissioner of Police Praveen Pawar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Smartana Patil, Additional Collector of Maharashtra State Agriculture Corporation Rupali Awale, Deputy District Election Officer Meenal Kalaskar, Deputy Divisional Officer Sanjay Aswale, Sneha Kiswe-Devkate, Pune City Tehsildar Suryakant Yewale, Madhusdan Barge etc. were present.
Dr. Diwase said, keeping in mind the importance of the upcoming general elections, all the relevant systems should work in coordination. The standards given by the Election Commission of India regarding ‘EVM’ should be strictly followed. Standards should be prepared in Marathi language and distributed to all concerned. Conduct joint training of revenue and police administration regarding EVM security.
Every visitor to the godown should be noted in the register. Necessary facilities should be made available to the security guard here. The number of security guards should be increased as per requirement. All the necessary measures should be taken for the safety of the godown, said Dr. Diwase gave.
At this time Dr. Diwase took information about CCTV, electricity, fire prevention measures, various types of registers etc.

Collector Dr. Diwase inspected the polling stations of Sant Gadge Maharaj High School at Koregaon Park and Saint Meera Girls High School at Sadhu Vaswani Chowk under Pune Cantonment Vidhan Sabha constituency.
