Government of Jharkhand wants revenue model of Pune Municipal Corporation!
Pune Municipal Corporation Revenue Model – (The Karbhari News Service) – Government of Jharkhand is going to study the revenue model of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC Pune Revenue Model). Accordingly, the Jharkhand government is thinking of implementing such a model in its state. Therefore, the Urban Development and Housing Department of Jharkhand has sought information from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC).(Pune PMC News)
Jharkhand Urban Development and Housing Department Director Amit Kumar has written a letter to the Municipal Corporation in this regard. The Jharkhand government is going to study the revenue model of various municipalities in the country. It has also selected Pune Municipal Corporation from Maharashtra. Accordingly, after studying this model, Jharkhand government is going to implement a revenue model in its state.
In this regard, Amit Kumar has requested information about the budget from 2018-19 to 2023-24 from the Pune Municipal Corporation. It has asked for all the information like deposits and expenses, balance sheet, salary during these years. Also according to the Municipal Corporation Act and according to which tax is levied. This information has been requested. Similarly, how are property tax, professional tax, solid waste management, water supply, sewage, etc. collected from such departments. Detailed information has been requested.
