PMC administration has announced regulations regarding Retired employees Notional increment
PMC Retired Employees Notional Increment | A circular has been issued by the state government regarding determination of PMC Pension for the retired employees of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) on 30th June or about to retire taking into consideration the Notional Increment on the next 1st July. The employees are going to get good benefits. Accordingly, this rule is applicable to the Pune Municipal Corporation. By implementing this, the municipal administration has declared a regulation to provide benefits to the employees. The proposal in this regard has been placed before the PMC Standing Committee. The administrative department of the concerned Ministry receives representations from various retired employees regarding the determination of retirement pay for the employees who retired on June 30 or who are about to retire on July 1. are Also, the matter of issuing the order taking into account the judgment given by the High Court, Bench, Aurangabad, was under the consideration of the Government. Accordingly, the finance department of the government has issued a circular in this regard. (Latest News on Notional Increment)
Retired employees, taking into account notional increase in pay as on 01 July, their service pension
“The State Government employees who have retired on 30th June and who have applied to the respective offices for revision of the previous 12 months’ service, should be informed by the Administrative Departments of all the Ministries to the Heads of Departments in their respective offices. Also, after revision of the said benefits, they should submit their applications within 3 days of the date of application. years of arrears or the date of their retirement whichever is less.” As this is applicable to Pune Municipal Corporation, the following steps should be taken to determine the retirement pay of the employees who retired on June 30, taking into consideration the notional salary increase on July 1. It is said in the proposal.

1. Employees retiring/retiring on 30th June will be required to submit their individual application to the Department of Last Pay for determination of retirement pay taking into account notional increment on 1st July. Applications made jointly should not be considered.
2. Municipal employees who have retired on 30th June and who have completed last 12 months of qualifying service should be given the benefit of this scheme. Qualifying service means service considered for pension under Rules 30 to 58 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982.
3. After receiving the application as per the Government Circular and Hon. High Court, Bench Aurangabad mentioned above
Retirement benefits of the servant concerned shall be admissible as mentioned in the order. After revising the said benefit, the arrears of the previous 3 years from the date of application or the date of their retirement, whichever is less, should be paid.
4. The application of any retiree who fulfills the guidelines laid down by the High Court should not be rejected.
5. The said Department shall consider the cases of concerned retired servants by allowing notional pay increment for the month of July
Account level verification of the case along with the original application of the retired servant through the Chief Auditor through the Pension Department
It will be necessary to submit the approval form to the department.
6. While giving the said benefit, it should be ensured that there is no amount coming to the Municipal Corporation. If any, the amount is to be adjusted firstly from the amount of gratuity as per rule 132 of the Maharashtra Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1982 and also from the arrears payable towards revised pension as per rule 134, 134A as required.
7. Necessary new computer system or repair of existing computer system should be done by Information and Technology Department.
