Don’t let citizens boycott voting because of water | Collector Dr. Suhas Diwase’s order to Pune Municipal Commissioner
No Water No Vote – (The Karbhari News Service) – Citizens are experiencing severe water shortage in some parts of Pune city. Tired of this problem, citizens are taking the stand of ‘No Water No Vote’. Collector Dr Suhas Diwase (IAS) has given serious attention to this and has ordered Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner to look into this. (PMC Water Supply Department)

The Election Department of the Collector’s Office is creating public awareness for maximum voter turnout in the Lok Sabha elections and for people to come forward. But on the other hand people are talking about boycotting the polls due to lack of fundamental issues. Therefore, the collector’s office has been alerted. Collector Dr Diwase has given orders to the Municipal Commissioner to give water to the people to discourage them from boycotting.
