61 schemes including 10th, 12th scholarships will be extended by 10 days | Decision of PMC Social Development Department
SDD Pune Corporation | Pune | Various 61 welfare schemes (PMC Welfare Scheme) are implemented for the citizens of the city on behalf of the Social Development Department of the Municipal Corporation. In this, the benefits of various schemes are given under Educational Financial Assistance, Disability Welfare Scheme, Women and Child Welfare Scheme, Backward Classes Welfare Scheme, Youth Welfare Scheme. The application period for these schemes has ended in the month of December itself. But citizens will be given one more chance to apply. Citizens can apply for all the schemes from February 5 to February 15. This information was given by Nitin Udas PMC, Deputy Commissioner of Social Development Department. (SDD Pune Corporation)
The applications of the schemes are available to citizens on the website dbt.pmc.gov.in. Citizens who want to take advantage of the schemes of PMC Pune should check their eligibility for the schemes and fill the application form online at dbt.pmc.gov.in along with the necessary documents.
Under Bharat Ratna Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Scholarship for 10th pass students living in Pune Municipal Corporation and under PMC DBT 12th Scholarship for 12th pass students under PMC DBT 12th Scholarship is operational. Under this scheme, the Municipal Corporation had called for applications from eligible students. The period has ended on December 29. | People who have applied in Save as Draft will benefit
Online applications for the scholarship have been received by the Social Development Department (PMC Development Department). However, it has come to the notice of the department that many applicants are not fulfilling the documents as per the given terms and conditions. Also the application was kept in save as draft. Therefore, the Municipal Social Development Department had suggested that if the application form filled by the applicant is kept in save as draft, then the application should be completed immediately and submitted. If not, the said application will be declared null and void. Despite this, 2669 have been cancelled. But now these applicants can submit their applications within this deadline.
According to Nitin Udas, 21 crores have been allocated in the budget for scholarship schemes. After receiving the applications of the candidates, the bill checking process is started immediately. Almost 3 thousand bills have been prepared. Soon all the bills will be prepared and the money will be credited to the applicant’s account through Dbt.
