15 days extension for citizens to pay property tax at discount! | Decision of PMC Property Tax Department
PMC Pune Property tax Discount – (The Karbhari News Service) – Citizens paying property tax in the first two months of the financial year i.e. till the end of April and May are given a discount of 5% and 10% in the general property tax. Citizens have only 1 day left to avail this discount. However, the citizens were continuously demanding to extend the deadline. Accordingly, citizens have been given an extension of 15 days. That is, citizens can get relief by paying property tax till June 15. Therefore, the property holders should take advantage of this and pay the property tax as soon as possible. Citizens of the city use online method while paying property tax. But while doing this, the municipal website was facing technical difficulties. Also, due to the deadline ending on May 31, the website faces technical difficulties. Therefore, it has been decided to extend the deadline by 15 days. Meanwhile, the total number of properties in the Pune Municipal Corporation limits is 14.22 lakhs, and all the income holders have been sent the payments for the financial year 2024-25 through the Indian Post Department. However, the property holders who have not yet received the payments, should contact the Income Tax Department

All CFCs (Civic Convenience Centers) of Pune Municipal Corporation will be open from 9 am to 9 pm on weekends and public holidays as well, property earners will not crowd at Civic Convenience Centers, they will not have to wait for a long time, instead maximum property earners should pay tax through online mode. It has been appealed.
