Only 10 days left to get 5-10% discount on property tax! | 632 crores income to the Municipal Corporation so far
PMC Property tax Discount – (The Karbhari News Service) – Citizens who pay income tax in the first two months of the financial year i.e. till the end of April and May are given a discount of 5% and 10% in the general income tax. Citizens have only 10 days left to avail this discount. Tyamule income holders should pay income tax as soon as possible. This appeal has been made by Deputy Commissioner Madhav Jagtap. Meanwhile, the total number of incomes in Pune Municipal Corporation limits is 14.22 lakhs, and the payments for the financial year 2024-25 have been sent to all the income holders through the Indian Post Department. However, the income holders who have not yet received the payments should contact the Income Tax Department

From April 1 to May 21, 3,97,518 income holders have deposited income tax amounting to 632.91 crores to the Pune Municipal Corporation. In this, 45,417 income holders have deposited an amount of 148.98 crores through cheques. While 68,422 income holders have deposited an amount of Rs 68.40 crore in the form of cash. Also an amount of Rs 417.11 crore has been deposited through online / digital system from as many as 2,40,840 citizens.
All the CFCs (Civic Facilities Centers) of Pune Municipal Corporation will be open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekends and public holidays as well. The income earners will not crowd at the civic amenities center and will not have to wait for a long time. An appeal is being made to pay taxes online.
