Finally, action was taken on the controversial hoarding erected in front of the Pune Municipal Corporation!

PMC Sky Sign Department- (The Karbhari News Service) The Pune municipal administration has finally taken action on the hoarding allowed by PMPML and erected overnight in front of the PMC Building without specifying the place.  Specially, according to the order given by the Pune Municipal Commissioner (PMC Commissioner), a hoarding was being erected at the gate of the Municipal Corporation showing a basket of garbage.  In this, the shadow confusion of the municipal corporation has come to the fore;  Moreover, it has been seen that there is no coordination between the PMP administration and the municipal administration.  Although the hoardings have been removed, attention is now being drawn on what action will be taken against the relevant hoarding holder and the relevant officer.  (Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC)
Even when the Ghatkopar incident in Mumbai is fresh, hoardings are being erected by ‘PMP’ at busy places.  Sky Signs and Licensing Department of Pune Municipal Corporation has given permission for this hoarding and cutting of tree branches.  Meanwhile, the municipal commissioner has given an order that hoarding should not be erected by cutting tree branches.  Even after that, a hoarding was erected at the door of the municipal corporation in violation of the commissioner’s order.  While the issue of unauthorized, dangerous hoardings is still pending, the municipality is giving permission to erect hoardings in front of the main building.  Already, due to PMP buses, vehicles are always crowded in front of the new municipal building.  In addition, PMP has been given permission to erect hoardings on the road.  As the municipal authorities are allowing hoardings to be erected in this manner even though it is not in the rules, the permission process of hoarding itself has been questioned.
Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation Dr.  Rajendra Bhosle reviewed the hoarding from the sky sign department.  At that time, there was information that hoardings were erected by felling trees.  At that time, the commissioner had ordered to remove such hoardings.  The sky sign department and the electricity department, which is in possession of the place, were not aware that this hoarding was being erected in the municipal premises.  So both these departments have raised their hands.  Therefore, while on one side the Commissioner is ordering action regarding the advertisement boards, on the other side, this type of work which is going on at the doorstep of the Municipal Corporation has become a topic of discussion.  So, since this permission has been given on the road, back and forth discussions have started about this.
The Municipal Corporation has set up a charging station for e-vehicles right in front of the entrance of the newly expanded building of the Municipal Corporation.  PMP pass center is at this place.  In front of this center and in the premises of the charging station, a large iron pole was erected to put up an advertisement board.  After that, the structure was erected in one night.  But again due to criticism, this structure was removed immediately.

The relevant hoarding was permitted by PMPL.  While granting the permission, the hoarding was given as adjacent to the PMC bus stop.  But they had not fixed the place.  Due to this, the hoarding has been removed.  Further inquiry will be made in this regard.
