National Commission For Scavengers | Member of National Commission for Scavengers In a meeting held in Vidhan Bhavan under the chairmanship of Dr P P Wawa, the proceedings of various departments regarding the problems of sanitation workers were reviewed.

Dr. Kunal Khemnar on behalf of Pune Municipal Corporation gave information about the welfare schemes like medical insurance scheme, supply of safety equipment, educational assistance to children etc. being implemented for the sanitation workers and their families.
